These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of techbench.it and any related services provided by TechBench ([Legal entity — to be updated], "we", "us", "our").

By accessing techbench.it or signing up to our waitlist, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

These are pre-launch terms. TechBench is currently in pre-launch phase. Full platform terms covering subscriptions, payments, and user accounts will be published before the platform launches.

1. About TechBench

TechBench is an online IT career development platform, currently in development. We are based in Italy and operate under Italian and EU law.

2. The Waitlist

By submitting your email address to the waitlist:

You consent to receive one launch notification email when the platform goes live
You consent to receive a welcome confirmation email immediately after signup
You confirm you are at least 16 years old
You understand that joining the waitlist does not guarantee any specific pricing, features, or launch date

3. Acceptable Use

By using techbench.it, you agree not to:

Submit false, misleading, or third-party email addresses without consent
Attempt to disrupt, hack, or gain unauthorised access to any part of the site
Use automated tools to submit multiple signups or scrape site content
Use the site for any unlawful purpose

4. Intellectual Property

All content on techbench.it — including text, design, graphics, the TechBench name, and logo — is owned by TechBench or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any part of the site without our written permission.

5. Disclaimers

The TechBench website is provided "as is" during the pre-launch phase. We make no warranties regarding availability, accuracy of information, or any specific launch date, feature set, or pricing.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Italian and EU law, TechBench shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you to TechBench, which during the pre-launch phase is zero.

7. Privacy

Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Unsubscribing

You can remove yourself from the waitlist at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email we send, or by emailing hello [at] techbench.it. We will process your request within 5 business days.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [City — to be updated], Italy. EU consumers also have the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the platform develops. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
